Anodising
A hard, protective oxide layer on aluminium, natural or coloured.
A hard, protective oxide layer on aluminium, natural or coloured.
A wear-resistant, even coating for metal parts, in many colours and textures.
For specific colours and gloss levels, also on plastic parts.
Galvanic metal layers such as chrome, nickel or zinc plating, for protection or appearance.
Improves the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
Smooth to high-gloss surfaces, also for transparent plastics such as PMMA.
An even, brushed texture for visible parts.
Bead or sand blasting for a uniform matt texture or as pre-treatment.
A surface treatment often has several functions at once: protection against corrosion and wear, a uniform appearance and sometimes electrical or thermal properties. The right choice depends on material, environment and use.
We include the finish in the design from the start, because layer thicknesses, masking and contact points affect dimensions and assembly. The agreed finish is fixed in the specification.
Because production, machining and finishing fall within one route, you do not need separate arrangements with a coater or plater. Exten coordinates the sequence of operations, transport steps and inspection against the agreed specifications.
Examples from practice: the chrome-plated visible parts in the coffee machine case and the coating of the wheelchair parts.
