Tooling coordination
We specify and supervise mould construction at the production partner, including trial shots and release against agreed specifications.
Injection moulding requires a mould investment and therefore becomes attractive from hundreds to thousands of parts, depending on the complexity of the part and the mould. At smaller quantities, CNC milling or plastics machining is often more economical; we calculate the break-even point per project.
Material choice determines strength, stiffness, temperature resistance and appearance. Common materials include ABS, POM, PP and glass-filled plastics; see materials.
Inserts, threaded bushings, surface textures and assembly are also part of the production design and the quotation.

Mould costs and ownership arrangements are fixed in the quotation up front, so you know where you stand. See also the FAQ.
Before the mould investment, a final-material prototype can validate the design functionally.
After release we produce repeat orders to the same specifications, with stock and delivery agreements. Quality & Logistics →
Wall thicknesses, draft angles, ribs, inserts and the gate position determine quality and cost. Our Engineering & DFM review flags risks such as sink marks or warpage before the mould is built.
